Health and Wellness

To promote a healthy lifestyle, L.A. GOAL offers Tai Chi, Yoga, dance, Zumba (dance exercise), “Healthy Lunch & Movie”days, health education workshops, and classes in personal safety, personal grooming, safe food handling, cooking, laundry skills, etiquette, and house cleaning.

Most health and fitness classes are offered both during the week and on the weekends to accommodate all Members. All of our programs are interlocking pieces of our strategy to provide a healthy, nurturing environment that serves as a foundation for adults with developmental disabilities so they can explore their abilities and talents.
